Warwickshire County Championships 

The Warwickshire County Championships take place over two weekends at the end of January and beginning of February each year. Swimmers must attain a qualifying time to enter each event. The entry times must come from Swim England Rankings and have been swam within the qualifying window (usually 1 March – December of the previous year). The entry times for 2025 are shown below. In 2022 we had 21 swimmers qualify, in 2023 23 swimmers competed at the county championships. In 2024 we had 14 swimmers compete.

West Midland Regional Championships (Long Course)

The West Midland Regional Championships take place over the May bank holiday weekend and the following weekend. Like the county championships qualifying times are needed in order to compete. the qualifying times for 2024 are shown below.
In 2022 we had 6 swimmers qualify - Matt Blinko, Jenson Pickett, George Upton, William Upton, Isabel McRoberts and John Roberts. 

In 2023 we had 5 swimmers qualify - Noah-James Bowes, William Upton, Jenson Pickett, George Upton and Will Pegg.

In 2024 we had 5 swimmers qualify - Poppy Parker, Tilly Farmer, Rebecca Hill, Jenson Pickett (CoB) and Jacob Brady (CoB)



British and English National Summer championships (Long course)

The British National summer championships take place in July with the English national championships taking place in August. Qualifying for these is a bit complicated, swimmers must compete at Level 1 meets during a qualifying window and finish in the top 24 or top 20 in GB or England to qualify.

In 2022 we had two swimmers qualify for the English championships- George Upton (50m breaststroke) and Isabel McRoberts (50 and 100m backstroke).
In 2023 we had two swimmers qualify - George Upton (50m and 100m breaststroke) and Jenson Pickett (50, 100 and 200m breaststroke)
In 2024 we had one swimmer qualify for the British- Jenson Pickett (200m breaststroke) and the English (50m & 100m  breaststroke, 400IM)

West Midland Short course championships 

The West Midland short course championships take place in November. There are only two sets of qualifying times - junior and senior. These times are shown below.
In 2022 we had six swimmers qualify - George Upton, Jenson Pickett, Will Pegg, Brooke Freer, Isabel McRoberts, Keira Benwell and John Roberts. Izzy and Will decided not to compete.

In 2023 we had two swimmers qualify and compete - Brooke Freer, Will Pegg

In 2024 we had two swimmers qualify and compete - Tilly Farmer, Rebecca Hill (CoB)

National Short course championships 

These take place in December and there are only three sets of qualifying times depending on age. The qualifying times from 2024 are shown below…
