Galas

Galas are different to open meets in that the coaches select the team and decide who is swimming which event. Galas are usually evening events and are fast paced and great fun for the swimmers. Currently Kingsbury Aquarius take part in three different leagues annually…

 

Nuneaton & District Junior League (Diddy league)

A junior league in which Kingsbury Aquarius competes annually. There are three divisions, we are in division two.
Age is as of date of final round (Sept)
Swimmers compete in the following age groups – 9,10,11,12
There are three rounds – April/May/June and the final is in September

Mercian League Team Gala

Mercian League website

A fun league for swimmers without a midland (regional) time. There is one league with 18 clubs competing.
Age is as of 12th July 2022
Swimmers compete in the following age groups – 10,12,14 and open age
There are three rounds – April/June/July

National Arena League

National Arena League website

National league, we are in West Midlands division 3. Age is as of 31st December
Swimmers compete in the following categories – 10/11, 12/13, 14/15, 16 over
There are three rounds – October/November/December
