Well done to our fantastic swimmers, Matt and Keira, who have been competing at Sheffield this weekend as part of City Of Birmingham squad.

Matt achieved

  • Bronaw in the 100m Fly
  • Silver in the 200m back for 14 years age old group
  • Bronze in the open age group for 200m Back.

Well done Matt fantastic swimming. Keira goes from strength to strength and achieved:

  • Bronze in 100m breaststroke 11/12 yr and 100m Breaststroke final U14.
  • Silver in 50m Freestyle 11/12 yr, 50m Breaststroke 11/12yr and 100m Freestyle 11/12yr.
  • Gold in 50m fly in 11/12 yr & 200m IM.

Keira then the won the 50m Fly outright over every aged swimmer ranging up to 17 yr olds

On Saturday 18th March and Sunday 19th March 2017, swimmers from Kingsbury Aquarius Swimming Club competed at the Inaugural Team Mercia SC Spring Open Meet at the Pingles Leisure Centre, Nuneaton.

Well done to all swimmers who took part, they tried their hardest and achieved some fab results.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank the Officials (Helen, Simon and Jill) as well as the Team Managers (Charlotte and a Deb) who gave up their weekend to help out.

Time Trials and Distance Awards – 11th March 2017

Kingsbury Aquarius Swimming Club (KASC) restarted Time Trials and Distance Awards  on Saturday 11th March 2017. The event was very successful with lots of new PBs and times generated as well as an excellent atmosphere. Swimmers from our Learn to Swim Scheme were very successful, achieving a number of distance awards and badges.

The club intends to hold Time Trials on a regular basis to aid swimmer progression and we will reflect and evaluate this event to establish the frequency and format of future time trials.

Well done to all swimmers and thank you as ever to all the Officials, Coaches, Committee, Volunteers and Parents for your support in this event.
